Pastor Buck and Emily followed a calling from the Lord, moving from Shell Lake to pastor full-time in turtle Lake WI. They have both been such a huge blessing and guiding light for our church, as our Pastor retired. I want to recognize Emily for going above and beyond the needs of our community, and responsibilities of a pastors wife. Emily has shown us through her prayers, vulnerability, leadership, fundraising and genuine laughter, a true example of Christ like love. We are beyond grateful for their obedience to the path God has placed their family on, and abundantly blessed by each of them!

Your guidance and support have been a blessing to me and our congregation. Thank you for all you do!

Pastor Tim teaches straight from Scripture every week with messages that always speak of God’s love and grace. He teaches that salvation is by faith alone but makes it clear that being filled with the Holy Spirit should lead us to make better choices in life. He wants everyone to share in God’s good news. He hopes that we as a church will exemplify this grace and love out in the community. The sermon is always sprinkled with a history and vocabulary/language lesson too. We love it. We leave every week with a sense of renewal and gratitude. It is so inspiring. The church is very active in the community. Pastor Tim & his family are very active in their Youth Ministry as well as provide a strong support for Recovery and Mental Health. Pastor Tim is very friendly, caring and gifted!

Shawn and his wife Kristin have been a gift and blessing to our campus. They accepted their calling to our campus as our previous pastor accepted his to start the new Chaska campus. They are so warm and kind even in times of struggle themselves. I have recently been going through one of the biggest storms of my life and Shawn has reached out to check in, continued to pray and made my feel safe when coming to church on top of everything else they attend to through the church and in their personal lives. I can’t thank them enough for all they do!
