Hope Academy

Address: 2300 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis, MN Number: 612-540-2000

A remarkable, Christ-centered education for the youth of the city

Hope in God changes everything. That’s the core conviction of Hope Academy—a school in the heart of Minneapolis where God is transforming our city, one child at a time.

Do you realize?

In a city where youth face tremendous odds, Hope Academy students celebrate a 97% graduation rate, with millions of dollars in college scholarships. Even better, hundreds of children and families are finding hope in Christ.

God has miraculously opened a door to nearly double Hope Academy’s campus and welcome 500 more children to a life-changing education, as the Lord provides.

Hope Academy invites you to ask questions, come for a visit, and consider how God might use you to fuel Hope in our city!

Stories of Hope:

“If I had not gone to Hope Academy from second to eighth grade, I do not think I’d be sitting here today,” shared DaShawna. “Now, I get to work with kids in the West St. Paul community … reintroducing them to Christ and showing them that yes, you can come from very rough backgrounds, but that doesn’t have to define who you are or your future.”

“It saved my child,” shared Michelle, mom to a Hope Academy high school student. “I truly believe she could have gone the wrong way with the wrong children, and I can’t tell you enough how lucky we are that she’s found Hope Academy.”

“I’ve been able to mentor Hope Academy students with other fellow Hope Academy grads. To be able to do that all together, and for it to stem out of the place that I love so much … it’s such a beautiful thing.”

Kenneth was a first-generation college graduate from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, on a full-ride leadership scholarship. He returned to South Minneapolis as a youth pastor and is investing in Hope Academy middle school students.

Together, let’s Realize the Remarkable.
