Since Tom Stolz first performed his moving recitation of The Gospel According to St. Mark in 1984, it has become a favorite Lenten season tradition with Twin Cities’ audiences. Without props, costumes, or sets, dependent totally on the rich and beautiful language of the King James Bible, the story of Jesus is reborn in the hearts and minds of the audience.
Suitable for audiences of all ages, Tom presents The Gospel According to St. Mark as a message of love and hope to the world. Originally directed by Tom’s father, Don Stolz, local theatre legend, and founder of the Old Log Theatre, the tradition continues on Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ Fireside stage.

THEN on Saturday, April 8th for ONE SHOW ONLY on April 8th “The Night Before Easter” will feature a musical buffet of both traditional and contemporary gospel songs along with some show tunes and other favorites with the amazing Gwen Matthews and gospel great, Robert Robinson.
