Sarah and Troy were parents to six kids, with ages ranging from three to 14.

One day, they decided to adopt three more; but their ages will surprise you. The new additions are 53, 87, and 89!

Sarah and Troy adopted three veterans through the Veteran Affairs Medical Foster Home Program. It’s a win-win for everyone!

The vets are taken care of and they receive the love from their adopted family. Instead of living in a nursing home, they get to spend quality time with their new families. The kids say that they have learned a lot!

Troy says “When it comes down to it, we’re a family. These veterans feel like they’re at home, like they belong somewhere. We feel like we’re meant to do this and plan to help for as long as we possibly can”.

What a great way to give back, to those who gave everything for us!
