This was truly the catch of the day!

Gus knows he is truly on vacation when he drops his fishing line into the lake and is able to just relax and spend his day fishing. And that’s just what he was doing when something in the water caught his eye – was it a plastic toy, or maybe a doll … what was it?

As it floated up and closer, Gus grabbed it. It was a baby! And the baby was alive!

The baby’s parents were at the same campground that Gus was camping in. Their 18-month-old baby had unzipped their tent and wandered off. Thankfully, the baby is expected to make a full recovery!

The parents are calling Gus being where he was  – a miracle!

And, Gus? He had the best fishing tale of all time!
