Before you open your Bible on this journey, wisdom begins with something simpler – a reverent fear of God.

Fear can seem like a negative thing to have towards anyone – but think of it like an adult who you really respected growing up.

You listened to what they said and tried to follow it the best you could.

It wasn’t a fear that they would hurt you if you didn’t do what they asked, but more that you never wanted to disappoint them.

And the opposite of fearing the Lord?

Despising wisdom and discipline.

There may be some moments on this journey where some things are brought to light in your life that need to change.

That’s okay

That’s normal

That’s part of growing in your faith.
