SENIOR SUPPORT

Presbyterian Homes & Services

Spread hope and kindness by sending greeting cards and art, or phone calls to the residents who are in need of extra love. Sign up for opportunities on the website.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • Create and send cards or art to the senior residents
  • Become a phone pal or pen pal
  • Donate homemade face masks and gowns.
Senior Community Services

Senior Community Services cover Hennepin and Wright Counties.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • Volunteer to help with yard work. Volunteers are matched with a senior in their area and scheduling is flexible.


MASK MAKING

Hennepin Healthcare

Accepting donations of homemade face masks to be used by those who are not using medical-grade personal protective equipment (PPE). This helps maintain supplies of medical-grade protective masks used by staff providing patient care.

Second Harvest Heartland

Provides essential services to meet the need for emergency meals in our communities. Deliver food to local individuals and their food shelf and meal program partners.

Salvation Army

Local Salvation Army facilities are in need of non-perishable food, baby supplies, hygiene products, and paper products.

Items may be brought to your local Salvation Army facility

New Life Family Services

Servicing over 5,000 men and women each year, New Life Family Services provides baby supplies including more than 75,000 diapers through their parenting education program.

COVID-19 Delivery Twin Cities Metro

Facebook-based network of volunteers delivering food and supplies to the elderly, immuno-compromised and quarantined within the Twin Cities Metro.
