You know the feeling. You’re having a great day – and then, all of the sudden, your jaw clenches and you get that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach as you remember someone who has wronged you. The old resentment just takes over your mind – and most of your day.  Jesus said in Luke, Chapter 6:

“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either.”

Easier said than done, but that’s what Jesus did for His enemies. And as you become more like Him, you’ll look at your resentments and enemies in a different way. I found this blog that – although secular – can give you some help in letting go.
