The unthinkable happened during a fun vacation for a family from Zimmerman, MN. The Aucapina family were enjoying the Wisconsin Dells last weekend when their beloved 7-year old daughter McKenzie died in a tragic accident. I can’t imagine losing a child and little Mackenzie’s homegoing service was today. Somehow before the service, in her sadness, McKenzie’s mom, Melanie messaged KTIS on Facebook asking for prayer warriors to hit their knees. If you have a moment, please lift up that family that is missing their daughter and sister. But the wonderful thing about this family and McKenzie is that they love Jesus and they know where their daughter is.
I want to pray Psalm 34:18 over them.
Father God you say The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Please walk with the Aucapina family and hold them close as they miss their McKenzie. We know her bright spirit and smile are with you until you hand her back to her family in Heaven. When they’re hurting, help them find their joy in You, for it’s Your joy that will be their strength. Help them to trust You as their God of hope. In Jesus’ name we pray….Amen.

Please Lord I pray that you surround this family with your love at this tragic time and soothe their tattered emotions, Help them to remember their pervious daughter smile when the pain is at its worst and most of all don’t let this tragedy cause their faith in you Lord to falter. Amen
Yes Lord I’m in agreement with Shelly Lynn Easton! Give comfort to this family and I’m praying this won’t tear them apart but to bind them closer together ???? that they would let this have them lean on You first and support one another . . . In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen
