Como Zoo is already a great place to enjoy some free fun.  My kids love wandering through the rainforest and seeing the monkeys (maybe because my boys are just as crazy as they are!)

During the summer Como also offers a free educational program for your kids with Project Passport!

From the Como Zoo website:

Join us every Thursday from 10:00AM-12:00 PM for our free Project Passport program.  Project Passport is a summer enrichment program created especially for our elementary-aged visitors.

Activities are designed to take children on a tour of the world; from the tropical rain forests, to the Arctic, to their own back yard.  Children will be invited to participate in a variety of activities with their families and chaperones to learn more about the special topic of the week.  Project Passport features games, crafts, and earth-friendly challenges youth can work on throughout the summer.  Take a trip with Project Passport to experience all the joys of nature right here at Como!
