It’s the last weekend of the St. Paul Winter Carnival, and here are our favorite SPWC events . But there are other cool activities as well including the Art Sled Rally at Powderhorn Park, Fur Trade Heritage Day at Maplewood Nature Center, and another Urban Expedition at the Landmark Center.

Fur Trade Heritage Day
Maplewood Nature Center
1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
Details: Become a voyageur and participate in fur trapper’s daily activities: Make a spark from flint and steel, drill a hole with a pump drill. Try on a capote and moustache and practice your French Accent!

Art Sled Rally
Powderhorn Park, Minneapolis
2:00 p.m.
Details: Bring your artistically designed sled and a helmet and meet at the western slopes of Powderhorn Park for the 8th Annual Art Sled Rally.


Urban Expedition: Lebanon
Landmark Center, St. Paul
1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Details: Explore Lebanon without leaving the comfort of St. Paul. Listen to music, eat food, participate in dancing–all with a Lebanese flair.
