God made you to walk in step with Him. But there’s some bad news.

We have all decided to strike out on our own. We are far away from God. Our sin has separated us from God.

Our separation from God is one that we can’t repair on our own. But, God loves you so much, He couldn’t abandon you.

He knew you couldn’t come back on your own, so he came down HIMSELF… as the man named Jesus. A helpless baby, lying on a scratchy bed of straw. He came to show YOU the way back.

The Bible says that the payment for our sin, is death (Romans 6:23). Jesus came to earth to die in our place. Jesus died to pay the penalty for our sins. But there was more!

God brought Jesus back to life, to show us that he has the power over death. Now he is calling you to walk with him again, without fear or shame. You have the opportunity to accept that gift and let Jesus die in your place.

God simply asks that you believe that Jesus came to die, so that you can be forgiven and one day live with him forever.

If you have never done so, would you accept Jesus’ invitation to walk with Him? If so, here is a prayer you can pray:

God, I have deeply hurt you by going down my own path. I’ve done and said many things that displease you. I’m so sorry to have caused you pain. Thank you for sending Jesus to rescue me from following my own way. I want to get back in step with you today. Thank you for forgiving my rebellion and for loving me.
