At Hosanna Luther in Forest Lake, we live by three simple words, " Live, Love, and Serve". As a part of this, we are serving by partnering with Feed My Starving Children to pack meals for children and communities around the world. We are hosting our annual packing event April 19 - April 21. We are in search of volunteers willing to help pack meals and are grateful for any donations to help keep this important act of serving and loving going. Freedom Fighters Support Group: is a peer-driven support group open to our military, veterans, their family or support system. It is an opportunity for them to gather and work though their issues while enjoying comradeie and friendship. We provide a community meal, acupuncture, massage, and live music. We also have resource tables with veteran and community-based resources. The group is free to all who participate. We currently have meetings once a month in Lakeville and every week in south Minneapolis.

Together with Show Hope and The Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU, Rockpoint is pleased to bring to the greater Twin Cities area the "Empowered To Connect Conference" — a two-day conference designed to help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals better understand how to connect with “children from hard places” in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be. The conference features David Cross, Mandy Howard, Daren Jones, Dan and Terri Coley, Ryan and Kayla North, Casey Call, and Cindy Lee and is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, those considering adoption or foster care and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, agency professionals, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors, therapists and others.
