Marty Goetz in Concert

8:00 AM - 8:00 AM

With a gorgeous, "Josh Groban" or "Broadway" style voice , amazing songwriting and lush piano playing, Emmy nominated, Marty Goetz has been called a ‘Modern Day Psalmist.’ His songs are scriptures beautifully set to music, leaving listeners spiritually moved, inspired and edified. He has partnered in ministry with many others, including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Greg Laurie’s Harvest Christian Fellowship, Jewish Voice Ministries International, and numerous Christian and Messianic organizations throughout the world. Marty became a 'Jew born anew' when, provoked by the increasing number of 'born agains' in his life, he began reading the Bible, “looking for loopholes." A few short weeks later, sitting alone one night on a friend's balcony, he realized with certainty that “the Jesus of the New Testament was the Messiah my Jewish people have been longing for.” Marty has been recording music steadily since 1985, and today lives outside of Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife Jennifer, who also is a Jewish believer in Jesus. This is a concert that you don't want to miss! It will leave you moved and blessed! Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door. Seating is general admission. The Heart of the City Music Factory is a non-handicapped accessible building with some stairs to climb.

Revolutionize!

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

The year is 1777, the redcoats have taken over New York City and made it their impenetrable headquarters, through which they send thousands of British troops to attack the ragtag Patriot army and thwart the Americans’ efforts in their war for independence. General Washington and Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge recruit a group of ordinary citizens they call the Culper Spy Ring to gather and relay information about the British’s plans from New York City to Washington’s camp. But living under redcoat muskets does not make spying easy. Every message is a race to let Washington know before the British carry out their attacks, and the Culper Ring must tread quickly but carefully, for if spies are caught…they are hanged. Revolutionize! Is a family-friendly nonmusical theatrical production based on the true events surrounding America’s first spy ring, known as the Culper Ring. This is the first-ever showing of this production for the public. All the proceeds from the ticket sales of this show will go directly to Breakthrough Ministries, a homeless ministry in the Twin Cities. For more information about this amazing organization go to breakthroughmn.org. All showings will be at the Upper Room of the Hub of Jordan, LLC, located at 231 Broadway Street in Jordan, MN. Grace Jaeger is the producer, director, and writer of the show. She has acted in several theatrical productions and is a student of the history surrounding the Culper Spy Ring and the American Revolution.
