Ken Burg – Chaplain at Abbott Northwestern Hospital
Ken is a very kind, caring, giving, and joyful individual. The patients on my unit usually don't get the best of news, have long recovery times (spending several weeks or months at the hospital), are overwhelmed with their new diagnosis, and forced lifestyle changes, but then there is Ken. He's right there with the patients, family members, and friends. Ken provides comfort, a listening ear, prayers, and most importantly lots of laughter. He is well loved not only by our patients and their loved ones but our staff as well. The hospital wouldn't be the same without him there. I am so grateful for his presence and spirit filled self. He has touched the life is so many souls when they needed it the most.
