KTIS artist Matthew West has written many songs that probably touch you on a daily basis, but you may not know that early in his career, he had some news that threatened to change everything:  he had to have vocal cord surgery.

That meant no singing, performing, or even TALKING for two months afterwards.  There was also no promise of a full recovery, that he would be able to sing again, or that he would even sound the same.

During that time, he had to fully rely on God in a way he hadn’t before, and he shared what he learned in this interview:
