If you’ve never been very good about memorizing things, you might get really intimidated when someone talks about memorizing bible verses.  But here’s an easy one to remember, it’s the shortest verse in the bible:

Jesus wept.
– John 11:35

Even though it’s only two words, the story behind it is incredible. Jesus had just been told that a friend that he loved had just passed away. and he had the same reaction you and I would have in that situation.

So, next time the tears start flowing, when things aren’t quite going the way you would want, when tragedy strikes again, I hope it helps to remember that Jesus wept, and he is weeping with you right now too.
