As I continue on this earthly journey, I’ve had many friendships. Several of them have become very close friends who are still in my life. It seems there are reasons I like to keep them around; they are honest, fun, and encourage me to be the best “me” possible. They lift me up during the tough times and celebrate in the good times.  That’s why I love this blog from Jennifer Dukes Lee; she also has a great piece of advice: “Who we surround ourselves with makes a big difference in who we will become.”

“Birds of a feather, flock together” is the way it was put to me as a child. If you wonder about your child and what kind of person they are…look at their friends. Friends are such an important part of our lives. Surround yourself with good ones.
