I’m sure you’re better at focusing than I am, but I was at church and everything that I needed to do that day was running through my head at a thousand miles per hour, and I really wasn’t able to put my mind and heart in the right place.  Until the lights went down and this video started playing:

And as they sing at the end of the song:

And as You speak
A hundred billion failures disappear
Where You lost Your life so I could find it here
If You left the grave behind You so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You’ve done
Every part designed in a work of art called love
If You gladly chose surrender so will I
I can see Your heart
Eight billion different ways
Every precious one
A child You died to save
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

I think I finally got just a small glimpse of God’s greatness and love for me.

(and I’m a little less worried about my to-do list)

Just watched your video post and sat at my desk and cried!! Thank you…I needed that today. I work at a local high school and some days can really be a challenge! I love my job and the fact that I get to make a difference in kids lives everyday, but some times it feels like I am not making much headway and it is so frustrating to see bright minds that have an “I don’t care attitude”. I don’t always get to know the back story of a lot of the kids I work with but the line that says ” Your the one who never leaves the one behind” really hit me!! I pray most mornings as I am parking my car in the parking lot that God will help me see the kids in the halls thru His eyes , I am going to add to that , that He reminds me that he will never leave one behind and I don’t want to either!! Thanks for all you do. Love getting my day started with you and Pam. Hope you have an amazing day!!
