We are so proud of our son, Noah, who is graduating from White Bear Lake Area High School tonight! Noah is on the autism spectrum, and has worked so hard for this outstanding achievement. As I looked through his yearbook, I grieved a little at all the things he “missed” doing, since many typical high school activities didn’t work well for him. However, he is such an amazing, kind, funny, handsome and smart gentleman who loves his family and the Lord – and dinosaurs, dragons, movies, swimming, fishing, horses and almost all animals, and so much more! Please pray that he will discover what he wants to do after high school, while attending the “Transitions” program in WBL, and that he will truly be happy, fulfilled and safe throughout his life.
What is it? What are the warning signs? How do I get help?
