31 Days to Becoming a Happy Mom – Day 1
Every day you have the challenge of trying to figure out how to cram all the things you need to do in a day that always seems to go faster than you want it to. Arlene Pellicane, author of 31 Days to Becoming a Happy Mom, has some simple advice to pass on about how to prioritize your day:
As moms we can get caught up in all the little things, and there’s never enough time in the day for what’s really important. But if we will commit to put the big things first: praying, bible study, quality time with your spouse, adequate rest, and nutrition the rest will fall into place. Remember what every flight attendant says before take off, “Put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others.” Mom, don’t ignore that dangling oxygen mask in front of you. Take care of yourself and your marriage so you can care best for your children. Making healthy choices isn’t selfish.
